New KeyWatcher, SmartKey Locker Systems Available Now.
Las Vegas, NV (April 1, 2009) – Continuing a 100-year tradition of innovative product design, Morse Watchmans is displaying its latest key management, asset control and guard tour solutions at ISC West 2009. New product highlights this year include a range of SmartKey Locker Systems, along with several new configurations for KeyWatcher – all designed to deliver intelligent, integrated security and access control.
“Morse Watchmans has built our business by providing products that meet the needs of access and asset control users,” said Fernando Pires, VP Sales and Marketing, Morse Watchmans. “As these needs change with the times, we will continue to stay ahead of the curve with new solutions that are advanced, interactive and cost-effective.”
At ISC West in Las Vegas, Morse Watchmans is showing the following products:
Morse Watchmans KeyWatcher is a key control and management solution that’s modular, scalable and designed to interoperate with access control and other systems. In addition to new 9-module and 2-module KeyWatcher illuminated cabinets, customers can choose from 1, 3 or 6 module cabinets, as well as modules for keys, lockers or credit cards. The intelligent system will release a key only to an individual with a proper User Code. Limitless configurations allow the key management system to be scaled up as needs expand. Smart design helps to reduce wall space while providing easier access.
Key-Pro Software is a PC application that allows system managers to establish permission levels and monitor data from any desktop connected to the network.
SmartKey Locker Systems from Morse Watchmans controls access to laptop computers, cash trays, weapons, cell phones, hand-held radios and other larger objects. Items can be returned to any open locker for convenience, and systems can be set up as a personal storage space for one or multiple users. The system is designed with scalability in mind; users can start with a single cabinet or configure a system with multiple cabinets.
KeyBank was developed by Morse Watchmans to replace manual key storage and tracking. The system eliminates outdated key boxes and manual logs. High-volume key facilities get increased security and control, while preventing unauthorized key access and reducing lost or misplaced keys.
Morse Watchmans Key-Rings incorporate a tamper-proof locking mechanism and a unique identification system to allow easy, cost-effective addition or removal of keys. Replaceable Hub Technology allows the tamper-proof key ring to be re-used by replacing the hub at a fraction of the cost. Serialized, color-coded hubs identify rings and prevent substitution.
PowerCheck Guard Tour System from Morse Watchmans includes a hand-held data recorder, checkpoint stations and reporting software. An auto-pilot feature tells the guard the location of the next station. The recorder allows security personnel to input one of 99 incident codes on site, using a built-in keypad and display. An accompanying Windows application – Tour-Pro Data Sorting Software – converts data recorder information into custom reports.
Morse Watchmans’ suite of product offerings feature an advanced level of system integration and IP connectivity that keeps Morse Watchmans at the forefront of security technology in 2009 and beyond.
“Our solutions are engineered for complete interactivity with other business systems,” said Mr. Pires. “By opening our protocols to a wide range of integration partners, Morse Watchmans makes it possible for users to implement connectivity across systems on any level they choose.”
